The start of last year's Basingstoke Half Marathon
A CELEBRATORY medal to mark five years of a Basingstoke race will be given to runners taking part in this year’s milestone event.
Destination Basingstoke, which organises the Basingstoke Half Marathon, will hand out the five year medals to those crossing the finish line of the event on October 4.
They will also encourage runners to give a high-five to Macmillan supporters wearing foam hands near the finish line, for a special photo opportunity.
There is still time to enter the fifth Basingstoke Half Marathon.
