THIS CCTV image shows two people police would like to speak to after an elderly woman had £2,300 stolen from her.

The 88-year-old appears to have had her pin number noted during an ATM transaction at around midday yesterday after shopping in Festival Place.

She then became the victim of a distraction scam during which her purse, which contained cash and bank cards, was stolen.

One suspect is described as a white female, with shoulder length blonde hair, wearing light or frameless glasses, a denim shirt and carrying a black leather shoulder bag.

The second was a white man, with short dark hair, slight stubble and wearing a black tight V-neck top.

If you recognise these people or have any information, please call police on 101 quoting reference number 44150297398, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are reminding people to keep their pin number safe when using ATM or cash machines, and be aware of people who might be standing near or behind you.
