A LIFE-saving piece of equipment has been purchased following a donation by the Atomic Weapons Establishment.
Tadley First Responders, a group of volunteers who are professionally trained to attend calls received by South Central Ambulance Service and provide treatment until an ambulance arrives, has purchased a defibrillator for the town.
The defibrillator will be located at the Tadley Tigers Rugby Football Club, in Red Lane, Aldermaston.
Debbie Leadbetter, volunteer co-ordinator at Tadley First Responders, said: “We are overwhelmed by the amount AWE have donated in the last year and the continued support the company gives us.”
