BASINGSTOKE blues/rock band Sugarman Sam and the Voodoo Men have been invited to perform at Sheffield's O2 Academy next spring as part of the Hard Rock Hell festival.
Frontman Sam Lay said: " We are all thrilled and very honoured to have been invited to take part in the HRH festival at this prestigious venue.
“To appear on the same bill as Mick Ralphs (ex Mott the Hoople and Bad Company) and legends Ten Years After and The Yardbirds will be awesome and we can't wait."
Sugarman Sam, along with the Voodoo Men - drummer Dave Miller, Bass guitarist Gareth Goodwin and keyboard player Paul McCormick - have played Basingstoke Live main stage and the Alresford Music festival this year along with a number of London venues.
See them at The Talking Head, Portswood, Southampton on Saturday, September 5 and at Hampshire’s OctoberFest on Sunday, October 11.
