SIX new homes could be built in Burghclere if plans are approved by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Vaughan and Cheryl Smith, who own Sandham House, in Pound Lane, Burghclere, have applied for permission to build six new homes on land at the rear of the property.
They want two two-bedroom houses, one three-bedroom house and three four-bedroom houses as well as 18 car parking spaces.
The application says: “The proposed development will not change the sylvan character of this part of the village. Sandham House will front onto the new cul de sac and will appear from within it as part of that cluster of houses.”
A decision is expected by September 22.
