GENEROUS shoppers in Basingstoke helped to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) during a collection last month.
Visitors to the Top of The Town donated £94 during a collection held by the north Hampshire MNDA group as part of Motor Neurone Disease awareness month.
Karl Blackmore, a member of the group, said over £2,100 was raised in total thanks to other fundraising events in June in Overton and Fleet, adding: “This is amazing as I’ve personally seen how MND impacts, not only the people who have the disease, but also family and friends of those who are suffering.”
