JAKE Fincken scored an unbeaten 81 as Basingstoke and North Hants kept up the pressure on North Hampshire Cricket Association Midweek League leaders Hook and Newnham Basics.

Hook lost to Overton, while Basingstoke won by 42 runs against Ramsdell, after Fincken’s excellent knock helped the Bountymen to 180-3.

Joe Ferries scored an unbeaten half-century in the Ramsdell reply, but they could only make 138-7 as Tom Hartgill took 5-23.
