Man dies in two-vehicle collision on A303
A MAN has died after a two vehicle crash yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the westbound carriageway of the A303, west of the Bullington Cross interchange, just before 5pm on Sunday evening.
A car travelling west was involved in a collision with a lorry parked in a lay-by.
A man who was a front seat passenger in the car was later pronounced dead and the driver – a woman – is receiving medical attention for critical injuries.
The lorry driver received minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
A section of the A303 was closed to allow police to examine the scene.
They are currently informing the family of the man.
