ROTHERFIELD Park and Odiham and Greywell secured their places in the third round of the Guy Jewell Cup with impressive victories.

Rotherfield Park smashed their way to 244-4 against AWE Tadley last Thursday, with Michael Heffernan hitting 113 and Mark Heffernan 52.

They then restricted AWE to 148-6 to win by 96 runs. Michael Deller-Merricks was Tadley's top-scorer with 36.

Tom Wiltshire has been in top form for Odiham in recent weeks and he took 4-27 as Ropley were restricted to 124-7 on Monday night, with Ross McGaughrin also claiming two wickets.

Odiham went on to win by eight wickets, with Adrian Green (60 not out) and Kyran Munt (50 not out) getting them over the line with ease.

There are two more games at May's Bounty in the coming week. Basingstoke and North Hants face Andover tonight, while RNA Sports take on St Mary's on Monday.
