POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery at a Popley shop.
A man entered the One Stop store, in Sark Way, Popley with a knife just after 6am on Monday and demanded that staff hand over cash.
No-one was injured during the incident.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with robbery and possessing a bladed instrument and he has been remanded into custody.
He will appear before Winchester Crown Court on June 10.
