IMAGES of two men police are trying to trace about a distraction theft at a Southampton post office have been released.
At the Witts Hill post office in the Midanbury area of the city, staff reported that they were distracted by customers asking questions about banking.
Shortly afterwards the staff discovered that £400 and €480 in cash were missing.
After reviewing CCTV officers have identified two people that were in the Post Office at the time, who they would like to speak to.
The men were described as Asian and aged in their thirties.
The incident happened around 1pm on Thursday, April 2.
Anyone who recognises either of the men is asked to contact Police Staff Investigator Tracy Dang on 101 quoting 44150110941, or via the Hampshire Constabulary website.
