SUPERHEROES will gather in Basingstoke tomorrow to raise funds as part of a national campaign.

Mike Wilson, who is raising money in memory of his son Jayden, will join his fellow members of the world-famous group 3RUN at a fun day for the Hope From Jayden Campaign, which is raising money for Naomi House Children’s Hospice, in Sutton Scotney.

Mike’s son Jayden stayed at the hospice before he died of a brain tumour in December aged just five.

The event, being held in The Malls, from 9am until 6pm, has been organised as part of Children’s Hospice Week.

Mike will be dressed as Spider-Man – Jayden’s favourite superhero character - and the aim of the day is to get as many superheroes together as possible in memory of Jayden.

There will also be superhero themed games and the chance to enter a Super Hero Selfie Competition, with prizes up for grabs including vouchers for Go Ape.

Elsa, Anna and Olaf from the Disney film Frozen will also make an appearance, along with Batman, Iron Man and some Storm Troopers.

The Hope From Jayden campaign has so far raised an incredible £18,000 for Naomi House Children’s Hospice.
