A PERSON has died following a two vehicle crash this morning.
Police are appealing for drivers to come forward following the fatal collision on the A339 near to Kingsclere shortly before 7.16am.
Another person involved in the crash has been injured and is receiving hospital treatment.
Police are particularly keen to talk to the owner of a silver vehicle possibly parked in a layby on the A339 seen flashing its headlights to oncoming traffic after the accident as they believe this person may be able to help with investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
The road is currently closed in both directions and diversions are in place.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area for at least the next few hours.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Sergeant Martin Munday from Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting Operation GLATTON.
