A THERAPIST at a Rotherwick hotel took on a running challenge, inspired by her aunt’s fight against a disease.

Lisa Pack, from Silchester, took part in the Reading Half Marathon last month, to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Berkshire Therapy Centre.

Her aunt was diagnosed with the neurological condition more than seven years ago.

Miss Pack, 29, said: “I have seen how MS has affected my aunt over the years so I wanted to do something for the charity and help people around the UK who have also been diagnosed with the condition.”

Miss Pack, who works at Tylney Hall Hotel, in Ridge Lane, Rotherwick, had company on the starting line, as her colleagues Ewen Thomas, assistant manager, and reception manager William Moor also joined in the event.

Mark Robinson, general manager at the hotel, said: “MS affects so many people in this country so Lisa should be really proud of herself for helping such a worthwhile charity.”
