SIX talented young dancers from Basingstoke will join the star-studded cast of a forthcoming local pantomime.
Beauty and the Beast arrives at The Anvil on Wednesday, April 15 and performances will take place at 2pm and 6pm.
Lee Latchford-Evans from Steps leads the cast as Prince/Beast, joined by Dani Harmer (CBBC’s Tracy Beaker, Strictly Come Dancing) as Beauty and comedy legend Bobby Davro as Silly Billy.
JG Dance students Lydia Moynihan, Zoe Blackall, Hazel Baldwin, Alyssia Kershaw, Rea Bailey and Ellie Openshaw were selected to perform and will appear on stage alongside the leads.
Principal Ann Morelle said: “I am so very proud of them all.
“They are lovely dancers and this professional experience will be invaluable in their future careers.”
Beauty and the Beast is filled with magic and lively music, as well as plenty of jokes, slapstick and heaps of audience participation.
