Archaeological digs to take place in Odiham
CAMBRIDGE University could dig two test pits on a playing field in Odiham as part of an archaeological project.
The proposal to dig the pits on the Recreation Ground, by Recreation Road, this summer was heard at a meeting of Odiham Parish Council earlier this month.
Similar digs to educate schoolchildren about archaeology and history have taken place in previous years in North Warnborough.
Members resolved to agree to the project.
