POLICE in Basingstoke are investigating a burglary at a home in Tadley.

On Sunday, December 28, thieves broke into an address on Bramley Road in Pamber End, sometime between 7pm and 9:14pm.

Entry was gained through a secure door at the back of the property and the intruders searched the property whilst the homeowners were out. A brand new Samsung Curved TV, an iPad and an air rifle were stolen.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have any information about this burglary to contact them.

PC David Catchpole from Basingstoke Police Station, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious on Sunday evening in the Pamber End area of Tadley.

“This burglary was committed in only a short space of time and it wasn’t particularly late. It’s likely there may have been other residents or locals around who may not have realised they witnessed something.

“We’re also interested to hear from anyone who may have been offered a Samsung Curved TV or a new iPad recently in suspicious circumstances? Or seen similar for sale on local sales online?”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Catchpole on 101, quoting 44140460338.
