Basingstoke shoppers boost charity's coffers
GENEROUS shoppers have boosted the coffers of a good cause at two recent collections.
The Basingstoke Salvation Army raised £1,737.44 at a Christmas carol event in The Malls, Basingstoke, on Saturday, November 29 and a further £1,613.63 at a similar event in Festival Place last Saturday.
The money raised will be used to fund the community work which the church carries out in the Basingstoke area.
