CRIME watch: Our police neighbourhood team has recently identified crime prevention and cycle safety as two priorities. Awareness raising on crime prevention includes spreading knowledge of the Immobilise website where members of the public and businesses can register valued possessions for tracing in the event of them becoming lost or stolen.

CHRISTMAS Services at local churches: Include a Christingle at Trinity Methodist Church at 4pm on Christmas Eve, and a Christmas Day Service at 10am. St Michael’s Church services include lunchtime carols at 12.30pm tomorrow. On Sunday, Carols by Candlelight is at 6.30pm, and at 7pm on Tuesday.

Midnight Mass is at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day services at 8am and 10am. At Christmas Eve’s 5pm Children’s Service, children are invited to dress as a character from the Christmas story.
