SALVATION Army Band: Did us proud last Friday, when nearly 60 villagers and friends filled Ellisfield’s Memorial Hall to capacity – everyone sung enthusiastically fuelled by delicious mulled wine, sausage rolls and mince pies. Thank you to the committee for arranging this – a first for Ellisfield.
CAROL singing: Continues right up to Christmas – the Belles of St Martin’s will lead the singing this coming Sunday at St Martin’s Church, Ellisfield, with nine lessons and carols at 6pm, and more carols on Christmas Eve, at 4pm at St Andrew’s, Farleigh.
CHRISTMAS Day Family Communion: At St Martin’s, Ellisfield, 9.45am.
DOMESTIC details: Our waste collections will be slightly rescheduled over Christmas and New Year; No collection December 26, instead it will be Tuesday, December 30, Tuesday, January 6, Monday, January 12, Saturday, January 17, recycling (January 6/17 January.) Weather permitting all back to normal Friday, January 23.
