WEATHER alert: The weather forecasts for the next few weeks predict the possibility of snow. I have been advised that all the salt bins in the area have now been replenished, so please feel free to use these on the roads and pavements should we get ice and snow. But please remember that these are there for the public highway areas and not private driveways!
If we get a prolonged period of cold weather, please look out for any elderly or vulnerable neighbours to see if they need any assistance. The borough and county websites will be able to offer advice on assistance that may also be available to them. From previous year’s experiences, I know we have a very caring and helpful community.
COFFEE club: Will be open tomorrow, at 10am, as usual.
Christmas cake and mince pies will be available to bring a little seasonal cheer. However, please note that the club will not be open on the following Friday (Boxing Day).
MERRY Christmas: It just leaves me to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
