OVERTON Parish Council has raised no objections over plans to upgrade a telephone mast in the village.
Proposals for the mast, positioned near the railway station, are to replace the 17.3 metre-high aerial with one of a similar size.
The plans were discussed at a parish council meeting on December 1 after owners Vodafone and Telefonica asked for their views before submitting a planning application.
All of the councillors agreed that the changes will not make a significant difference to the area, and decided that making an objection was unnecessary.
