SANTA-BULOUS: What a start to Christmas festivities! Congratulations to Sue and all who helped put together the Christmas fair at Farleigh Estate Club last Saturday. They were rewarded by an almost endless queue of visitors buying lovely items from over a dozen stalls.
HORTICULTURAL Society AGM: At Millennium Hall, Cliddesden, tonight at 7.45pm.
Members are invited to review the year’s events, elect a committee and make plans for next year while enjoying wine and nibbles.
ELLISFIELD Christmas Fayre: This Saturday, from 2pm-4pm at the Memorial Hall. Caroline and her team have once again worked tirelessly and we can expect stalls offering beautiful gifts, hand-made crafts, cakes, savouries and preserves, raffles, a children’s stall and the tombola. Refreshments available. Donations can be brought to the hall on Saturday from 10am-noon.
BELLES of St Martin’s: Started rehearsals on Tuesday in preparation for Nine Lessons and carol service at St Martin’s Church, 6pm, Sunday, December 21.
