Young girl hit by car in Popley
A YOUNG girl is said to be in a serious condition after crash involving a car in Popley this morning.
The 12-year-old girl was involved in a collision with a Nissan Qashqai car in Popley Way, by the junction with Shakespeare Road.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary were called to the scene at 8.06am this morning. The girl’s condition was described as “serious but not life-threatening”.
The incident blocked the road and traffic was diverted away from the junction. Officers left the scene at 9.20am.
