COCKTAIL Heaven! Twenty-nine members and friends of Ellisfield Ladies toured the facility at Bombay Sapphire Distillery last Saturday, and behind-the-scenes in the Dakin Still House, we were introduced to Thomas and Mary, enormous copper stills at the heart of the unique vapour infusion distillation process. We selected our favourites from 10 exotic botanicals in the Glasshouses and Botanical Dry Room and then enjoyed a bespoke cocktail tailored to our own taste preference in the Mill Bar – what more could a girl ask!
PARISH Council: Meets on Monday, at 7.30pm at Ellisfield’s Memorial Hall, to discuss planning applications and budget considerations.
SANTA’S first visit: Farleigh Estate Club Christmas Fair, from 11am-2pm this Saturday, with gift stalls, cakes and refreshments.
CHRISTMAS festivities: Start in Ellisfield next Saturday, November 29, with a Christmas fayre, from 2pm-4pm. Tombola prizes much needed – call me (381417) and Jenni (381922) would welcome cakes, jams, quiches, chutneys etc.
