BROKEN bottles were left near the playground of a primary school after youths trespassed on the grounds.
The police received a report that youngsters had entered Overton Primary School grounds.
Police Community Support Officer Ben Howard said: “This is the first incident police have been made aware of for a very long time. The actions of the youths are unacceptable and extremely inconsiderate.
“Should police catch anyone up at the school drinking, they will be dealt with in a robust manner. This was a single occasion and the police are urging parents to remind teenagers that they need to consider their actions.
“The police will not accept people trespassing and leaving dangerous bits of broken glass in a primary school.”
