THE dancing dreams of four local schoolchildren have come true after they were selected to appear in with English Youth Ballet in a forthcoming production of Swan Lake.
Ten-year-old Isabelle Hayward, 13-year-old Megan Hayward, 10-year-old Daniel James, and 12-year-old Tilly Lukeman were selected at an audition, in July, from 200 young hopefuls.
Sisters Isabelle and Megan are from Winchfield, Daniel, who is from Basingstoke, attends St Mark’s Primary School, while Tilly, who lives in Hook, attends Robert May’s School, in Odiham.
The quartet will appear in Swan Lake at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre for three performances from November 14-15, dancing alongside EYB’s international principal artists.
The young cast have worked with the principal dancers at the Bishop David Brown School in a 10-day intensive rehearsal process ahead of the performances.
