A HOTEL property specialist has been appointed to handle the sale of a Basingstoke hotel, for over £5.5 million.
Christie and Co was appointed by The Hotel Collection to sell the Basingstoke Country Hotel, near Hook.
The hotel has 100 guest bedrooms, conference and meeting rooms, restaurant, brassiere, lounge bar, two banqueting rooms and a car park.
Its facilities include a large indoor swimming pool, fitness suite and dance studio.
Jeremy Jones, director of hotels at Christie and Co, said: “This hotel is highly profitable, with strong demand from business and leisure guests as well as being a popular wedding venue.
“We are finding that there is an increasingly strong demand for quality provincial UK hotels and we anticipate that interest in the Basingstoke County Hotel will be high.”
Offers can be made in excess of £5,500,000.
