THREE national firms are working together to host a free seminar in Basingstoke for farmers and landowners about the risks and rewards of solar installations.

Clarke Willmott Solicitors, Savills, and Saffery Champness Accountants will host the evening seminar at Hampshire Court Hotel, in Chineham, on November 18.

Topics covered will include tips on negotiating options and leases, the hurdles and best practice of the development process, financial implications and funding options.

The event will also include a live case study by Andrew Dyke from Pineapple Farm and Business Park, who invested in Solar PV at his farm and will talk about his experience.

The seminar aims to tackle topics and questions head on following the Government announcement of funding cuts, and the confusion and unease amongst landowners interested in investing in solar installations.
