A BASINGSTOKE housing association will be holding a free training course for people interested in a career in the security industry next month.
Sentinel Housing Association will be running a free 12-day training course as part of its Support Towards Employment Programme (STEP), to help people get the skills and qualifications needed for a job in security.
The course will cover Level 1 English and maths, Level 2 customer service and Level 2 door supervision.
Once the training has been completed, participants will be given an SIA licence which is needed for door supervision work.
The course will start in mid-November and is open to anyone over 19 years of age who is not in education, employment or training. Priority will be given to Sentinel customers.
