THE leader of the Monster Raving Loony Party celebrated the anniversary of a political beer launch by having a meal in Hook.
Members of the party dined at Hook Tandoori, in Station Road, last Thursday to celebrate the Co-ALE-ition, which has seen the launch of political-themed ales from different breweries, including the Basingstoke-based Longdog Brewery.
During the meal, Alan “Howling Laud” Hope confirmed he would stand against Boris Johnson in the Uxbridge and Ruislip constituency at next year’s General Election.
