SIX new homes are set to be built in a revamped hostel in Whitchurch after Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council planning officers gave the scheme the green light.
Simon Southgate and Simon Eadie applied to the borough council in January for permission to convert a hostel comprising of three buildings at Cressington, in Hurstbourne Priors, Whitchurch.
The applicants proposed a housing mix of three three-bedroom properties, two one-bedroom properties and one four-bedroom property.
Planning officers at the borough council gave the green light to the proposal with conditions, including a requirement to begin the development within three years.
