The 24-year-old driver was airlifted to hospital
A YOUNG woman has been airlifted to hospital after her car hit a tree near Odiham.
The crash took place today at around 2.23pm on the A287, near Rye Common, to the east of the village.
Police said a blue Volkswagen Polo left the road and hit a tree.
The 24-year-old female driver was the only person in the car. Police said she was airlifted to hospital.
The road remains closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for most of the rush hour period.
