THIEVES stole gold jewellery worth £6,000 after breaking into a home in Rooksdown.
The burglary took place at a house in Canadian Way, between 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Saturday, August 30.
Among the items stolen was a 24 carat gold linked bracelet, with plain gold plaits with swirly detail and striped effect on the latch. This was worth £3,200.
A 24 carat gold wedding ring chain, with a Claddagh pattern on the chain links, a K printed on the front and a J printed at the back near to the clasp, was also taken.
