FOOTBALL training and coaching sessions: The new season is looming and sessions are due to start on Saturday, September 6 on the village green.
Boys and girls, in Year R, Year 1 and pre-reception, are invited to attend the sessions where the theme is football and fun.
Children should bring suitable clothing, drinks and shin pads.
Children to report to the village green at 9.45am, and the sessions will last up to two hours. Please phone Fred on 01256 882798.
GARDENING Club: The next get-together is on September 15 when Jennifer Harmer will be entertaining the Gardening Club with her stories and pictures of travels around the world photographing wild flowers.
SHERFIELD Show: Flowers, produce and crafts will all be there at the 48th show on Saturday, September 6 at 2pm.
Have a go – there’s fun for all the family, and many new classes including children’s classes and ‘selfies’. A full schedule is online at sherfieldshow.hampshire.org.uk, in the coffee shop (bay window), and The Shop.
