Guide Dogs for the Blind needs volunteers
A CHARITY is looking to set up a support group for blind and partially-sighted people in Basingstoke.
Guide Dogs for the Blind is looking for volunteers to help organise events, help with collections and raise awareness of the charity.
Kate Smith, a local Guide Dogs representative, said: “Whatever you’re interested in doing, whether you have a little or a lot of time to spare, you will be guaranteed to meet new people and have some fun.
“At the same time, you will be raising funds to enable Guide Dogs to create the special partnerships which can change the lives of people who are blind or partially-sighted.”
