A TEENAGER was freed from a car after hitting a tree along a country road.
Firefighters from Basingstoke fire station were called to Vyne Road, in Sherborne St John at 9pm last night, where the Ford Fiesta had hit a tree side on.
The driver, a man in his teens, was trapped in the vehicle and firefighters spent around two-and-a-half hours cutting him out, working through a planned strike.
Two passengers, a man and woman, had managed to get out of the car before the firefighters arrived.
All three were taken to hospital.
