PLANS to create a new vehicle access to a farm have sparked objections from parish councillors.
A Mr and Mrs Oliver have asked for permission from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to create the new access at Pilgrims Farm, Overton.
The application is an amendment to a previous one submitted in December, which was refused because of concerns over visibility at the junction of the access.
But Overton parish councillors raised concerns that the new application still fails to address the issue of visibility.
Councillor Lucy Sloane Williams said: “We were unhappy last time with the level of visibility and the question is, do we feel that’s any better?”
Cllr Brian Langer said: “I just feel that there’s more that they could do to get over the sightline problem long-term.”
Councillors agreed to object to the plans on the grounds of poor visibility in both directions.
