POLICE investigating a burglary in Old Basing have released an efit image of a man they would like to speak to.

The incident happened between 5am and 5.25am on Sunday, July 6 at an address in Dickens Lane.

The occupant was woken by a noise and went to investigate, finding a man who had forced entry into the property.

The suspect ran away empty handed from the home.

Police staff investigator Phil Vaughan said: “Do you recognise the man in this efit image? Or did you notice anyone suspicious in the area at the time of this incident?

“Maybe you were up early to take a dog for a walk or were leaving or returning from work and saw something which you considered out of the ordinary?”

Anyone with information should contact PSI Vaughan at Basingstoke police station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
