The air ambulance landing at Crabtree
A PENSIONER was taken to hospital by air ambulance on Saturday.
South Central Ambulance Service received a call to respond to a medical emergency in London Road, Basingstoke at 8.22am.
A rapid response vehicle and Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance attended the incident.
The man, in his 90s, was taken to Basingstoke hospital by the air ambulance, which had landed at Crabtree Plantation.
