ON FRIDAY, The Gazette asked our online readers to identify the location of this photograph, taken over Basingstoke in 1930.
We can now reveal that the correct answer was Park Prewett Hospital, where the Rooksdown estate is now built, taken from the south in July.
The image is part of English Heritage’s collection of 1million aerial photographs taken over Britain from 1919 to 1953.
Look out for our fourth, and final image, taken over The Gazette area, which we will upload on Friday.
