NEW toilets are set to be unveiled at Eastrop Park following the conversion of the park’s boathouse.
The new addition will be opened in time for the summer school holidays to add to the existing provision in the park.
The work follows a decision made by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s cabinet in July last year to improve public conveniences across the borough.
Toilets in Castons Yard at the Top of The Town have also been refurbished as part of the scheme.
Councillor Hayley Eachus, cabinet member for community services and the environment, said: “We know how popular Eastrop Park is, especially in summer when we have so many families using this great space so close to town.
“The new toilets will ensure that Eastrop Park continues to be an attractive place for families to visit.”
