THE 10th anniversary of a biodiversity society was celebrated by its members on Saturday.
Overton Biodiversity Society held a community picnic at Little Meadow, in Overton, and organised a range of activities including wildlife games, quizzes and maypole dancing.
Overton Biodiversity chairman Ken MacKenzie said: “We’re delighted to have reached our 10th birthday and we would like to thank everyone who’s helped us over the years and in particular our original chairperson, Kath Doyle.
“We’re now looking forward to another 10 years of helping to raise the profile of wildlife.”
