THE MANAGING director of Stagecoach will attend a meeting at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council on Monday.
Andrew Dyer, the managing director of Stagecoach South will attend the borough council’s scrutiny committee meeting at the Civic Offices, in London Road, from 6.30pm to discuss the changes to the borough’s commercial bus services that came into effect on February 16.
In addition, Councillor Sean Woodward, Hampshire County Council’s executive member for economy, transport and the environment will attend the meeting.
Keith Watts, chairman of the scrutiny committee told The Gazette: “We will be looking to work in partnership with Stagecoach as they run the majority of services in Basingstoke and Deane and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pay a lot in subsidy money for other services such as the Centre Shuttle.”
