BURGLARS took money from two houses in Cliddesden while the occupants were on holiday.
One burglary took place on the night of Thursday, June 19 and the other between Thursday, June 19 and Saturday, June 21.
PC Craig Bannerman, from Basingstoke police station, said: “This is a very low crime area but I want to ensure that residents of Cliddesden are aware that there have been two burglaries so that they can take action to protect their property and be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.”
He urged anyone who witnesses suspicious behaviour to report it to the police, and for people to keep an eye out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
