School to hold First World War event
THE Costello School is inviting people to attend an event to mark the anniversary of the start of the First World War.
The school, in Crossborough Hill, is hosting the commemoration from 3.30pm until 5pm on July 3.
The special event will include a floral tribute, 1914-2014 football match, performances to capture the mood of 1914, displays of local and family research, and tea served by pupils.
