CONCERN about parking is at the root of an objection to providing a playschool in Hartley Wintney with a temporary classroom.

Hart District Council has objected to a plan by Hampshire County Council for Oakwood Community Play School, in Church Lane.

Planning officer Robert Thain said the district council did not object to the principle of the scheme, but added more parking spaces were need to accommodate two new members of staff.

The county council will decide upon the application.
