Basingstoke Heritage Society open day to take place on Saturday
MEMBERS of Basingstoke Heritage Society will hold an open day to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The society, which was founded in 1989, will showcase its work at Basingstoke Discovery Centre, between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, as part of Basingstoke Festival 2014.
Displays of the historic blue plaques around the borough will be on show and visitors are encouraged to bring pictures and share their memories. Call Deborah Reavell on 01256 473390.
