AN OAKLEY nursing home has been rated as one of the top twenty care homes across the South East.

Oak Lodge nursing home, in Rectory Road, Oakley has been recommended as one of the top care homes in the region after coming 6th out of 3,304 care homes across the South East.

The nursing home was rated on its online recommendations from residents in addition to recommendations from friends and relatives of residents.

The survey was carried out by carehome.co.uk, an online directory site that lists all registered UK care homes, which aims to help web users in their search for the right care home.

Grace Adan, manager of Oak Lodge nursing home, said: “This carehome.co.uk award is testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff at Oak Lodge. I am deeply honoured to receive this award and for our home to be recognised in this way.”

Ms Adan continued: “It is especially satisfying because it is based on recommendations received from the people that actually use the service.

“We are so proud of this award and can’t wait to share the news with all our residents and their families. I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and their continued trust in what we do.”

Director of carehome.co.uk, Davina Ludlow added: “Oak Lodge care home has proved that it provides a great service and we’d like to congratulate them on being a top recommended home in the South East.”

“It’s a brilliant achievement to be recognised for your hard work but particularly from the people who you work hard for.”
