Three councils unite to discuss wind farm plans at Bullington Cross
PLANS to build a 14-turbine wind farm in north Hampshire will be considered by three councils at a joint meeting.
Next week, members of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Winchester City Council and Test Valley Borough Council will meet at Winchester Guildhall to discuss EDF Energy’s application to build the farm at Bullington Cross, near Sutton Scotney.
The site of the proposed wind farm crosses the boundaries of all three local authorities, with seven turbines in Winchester, four in Basingstoke and Deane, and three in Test Valley.
